Course Content -Performance Management

 

Programme Overview:


This two day programme is embracing of a diverse range of performance issues, covering attendance, disciplinary and under performance. whilst the processes cover similar principles, the causes are often poles apart and therefore require differing approaches to achieving the desired improvement in performance.


The programme gives clarity as to how each should be differentiated and the differing strategies for managing an improvement.


Significant emphasis is placed upon the operational manager's responsibility to raise the level of individual and team performance, rather than simply managing a steady state.

 

By the end of the programme delegates will:

 

  • Be able to clearly identify what performance issue/s require to be addressed

  • Have an understanding of what techniques best apply

  • Be aware of the legislative implications

  • Be confident at achieving a positive outcome
